TRAINING OVERVIEW
Maranatha Chaplaincy Academy offers a 3-month Basic Chaplaincy Education Programme designed to equip ministers, church workers, mature Christians, and Christian leaders with the biblical knowledge, practical skills, and spiritual discipline required for effective chaplaincy and Christian humanitarian service.
AREAS OF TRAINING
01. Biblical Studies
Developing biblical knowledge and a strong scriptural foundation to support effective Christian service and chaplaincy ministry.
02. Introduction to Chaplaincy
Introducing participants to the role, purpose, responsibilities, and practical foundations of chaplaincy and Christian humanitarian service.
03. Discipleship Education
Equipping participants with a foundation in discipleship so they can encourage spiritual growth, guide others, and strengthen Christian faith and service.
04. Crisis & Conflict Resolution
Preparing participants to respond to crisis and conflict with wisdom, compassion, and practical skills that promote peace and constructive resolution.
05. Guidance & Counseling
Developing practical skills for offering compassionate guidance, encouragement, and support to individuals facing personal, spiritual, and challenging circumstances.
06. Outdoor Foot Drills & Practical Exercises
Providing practical exercises and foot drills that help participants develop discipline, coordination, preparedness, and teamwork as part of their training.

Admission is open to:
• Ministers of the Gospel
• Mature Christians
• Church workers
• Christians with a desire to win souls for Christ
• Church leaders
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should have:
• Demonstrated Christian maturity
• A Secondary School Leaving Certificate or equivalent
• A Certificate from a recognized Bible Training Institute

Certificate: Basic Certificate in Chaplaincy Education
Virtual training is available for participants who are unable to attend physical training at the academy.
